Earned an M.D. from B. J. Medical College, Pune, in 1988 and has been practicing dermatology at Alok Clinic in Panvel since 1989, leading a team of seven associate dermatologists. Recognized for his contributions to dermatology, he has received the Dr. B.B. Gokhale Award from the University of Poona, the Dr. Lonkar Award for innovative work in dermatology (1991) by IADVL Maharashtra, and the Sharad Naik Award along with Maharashtra State recognition for his work in leprosy. He played a key role in designing Clinic Management Software, now used by over 300 dermatologists, and contributed to the IADVL Practice Management Cell in 2020.

As an author, he has written chapters on practice management in Essentials of Practice Management in Dermatology and Plastic Surgery and the IADVL Textbook of Dermatology. His leadership roles include serving as Treasurer of the IADVL Maharashtra Branch, Organizing Chairperson of ACSICON 2025 in Navi Mumbai, Immediate Past President of the Navi Mumbai & Raigad Dermatologists’ Association, and Organizing Co-chairman for Mid-Dermacon 2017 in Navi Mumbai.
